No, Emsella treatments are pain-free. Patients may feel a tingling sensation and muscle contractions during the session, but it is generally comfortable.

  • A typical treatment course consists of six sessions, scheduled twice a week for three weeks.
  • However, the exact number of sessions may vary based on individual needs and the healthcare provider’s recommendation.

Those that are pregnant, have a pacemaker, metal plates, defibrillator or have any copper coil or IUD – the Mirena Coil is fine as it’s made of plastic. Piercings may need to be removed before treatment.

Emsella is generally well-tolerated with minimal side effects. Some patients may experience mild muscle soreness or a slight tingling sensation, which usually resolves quickly.
